We fundamentally used the 10% rule any 2 weeks, increasing my weekly mileage about 10% every two weeks. One particular runs had been a designated “long run.” Mileage on that long run increased 1/2 a mile each week or almost every other week until it plateaued at 6 miles.
We had taken some time down after leaving Texas and arriving in Minnesota. Travel, weather, and a bout of the sniffles delayed consistent workouts that are outside. We applied a 20-30 minute run/walk routine the couple that is first of just and so I might get back to the swing of operating.
I ran laps around the campground, alongside cornfields, through flat scenic trails, and even highways that are down busy. I switched from playing music to playing podcasts…one on crime stories (When Upon a criminal activity) and another on operating (Mojo for operating). We additionally created an Instagram account @rv4thelongrun where I posted most of my runs and channels.
